If you fit a Fuel silencer, what do you do for a centre stand stop?

If you fit a Fuel silencer, what do you do for a centre stand stop? Hi Bumbleboom, Don't know....but give them a ring and see what they say. fuelexhausts.com/contact-us.cfmI have a Motad exhaust but I've never used a centre stand stop, even though Motad make them. If Fuel don't stock them then contact Motad and buy one off them. www.motad.co.uk/

I popped a centre stand on my Moturd equipped NTV a while back - no stop on the pipe, so a wee bit of lateral thinking and a rummage in the shed came up with this: Yes, it's a rubber doorstop. Drilled and tapped an M4 thread into the footrest hanger, popped a washer in the base of the rubber for stiffness and there she blows! Works well too: You're welcome.

Your advice is much appreciated. The doorstop idea is most inventive. Thanks!

I've just ordered a Fuel pipe this morning, once it turns up I'll see how well it works with the doorstop. Looking at the photos of Fuel-equipped NTVs they do seem to hang a bit lower than the Moturd, so I may need to get creative again - lots of other bits in the shed to cobble onto the bike yet, something in teak maybe?
