Help please ,I`ve bought a 1993 NTV650 revere and the rear tyre was given an advisory at last MOT .I want to replace the tyre how does the wheel come out .I`ve removed central wheel dust cup ,removed splitpin ,removed nut and pushed out wheel spindle.Do I have to remove brake caliper etc? or should the wheel come out without touching brake assly .Don`t want to use force in case I damage or distort anything . and do not know how long its been since wheel was last removed .Iwas under the impresion from the manual it was a Q/D type wheel on pegs and may only be stuck via corrosion . Any advice would be greatly appreciated Thank you in advance Tony

Once the nut is off, you should be able to pull the wheel off the hub assembly. The brake disk and caliper stay on the swing arm. I suspect the locating studs on the hub assembly have corroded into the wheel a bit, stopping the wheel from sliding off easily. Try getting some releasing fluid down between the disk and the wheel and see if that helps.
Good luck!

Thank you gills for a speedy reply you`ve confirmed what I originally thought so WD40 and a bit of brute force is the next step Tony
