hmm...could be midges....It's hard to understand the Scottish anyway Hopefully I can make as little errors driving on the left side as last time.... only once drove away to wonder what the idiot was doing on the right wrong side of the road....till it dawned on me (see, I can make cheap puns too ) But at least I won't have to get used to the controls.....the rental car had a few good whacks on the side window when trying to shift (although it took me half an hour.....my friend never got used to it...) It would be fun to see a few new faces again, the dutch forum only has plans for summer so that's too far away...

Hi Buzzin Excellent news ;D (Maybe you'll shame a few of us into returning the compliment in the summer months.. ) Buzzin writes The midges problem i believe is particular to parts of scotland. *The Scottish police are blaming 'Snow white' for causing the problem in the first place, and the 'Elf & safety' Authorities are now looking into it......................Boom, Boom..... ;D Nice one jake...

Just bringing this topic back to the front of the que.
Members from this and other Forums are looking to organize a ride out for later this year to Builth Wells in Wales. If you are interested contact either Jake or Jaz66 for details. (Wish I could join you, My mother lives just a few miles away from Buith!!)
Also if any of our many members from Europe are interested in either attending or planning something similar, why not post something here.
Glenn

Just to clarify Glenn's post above.... We're still open to suggestions on dates for the Spring Rideout this year. Depends on peoples work schedule and availability etc. But for the moment 'Spring' means anytime between March and mid-May.... But let's avoid Bank Holidays for obvious reasons. See link below for more details: growell.proboards49.com/index.cgi?board=adventure&action=display&thread=723Anyone new to the notion of Touring and Camping.... some tips can be found on the 'Carry on Camping' thread:
