'93, Belfast area Northern Ireland plate. Just about to turn 25000 miles. The indicators and horns didn't seem right when i got it as you can see from some of the pics, put i tidied it up a bit with little indicators, see first pic. The Givi wing rack came on it too with the 45 litre box, maybe get some touring done this summer.

snap
I've got an NTV, and a KR1-S too ......in the shed awaiting some tlc, bought it Jan last year, used it intermitantly as a "thrashtoy" ;D until the LH fork seal started to leak (end Aug) 33mpg plus lots of expensive Silkolene synthetic 2 stroke oil.....addictive performance handling and smell.....lol
oops also got a Yamaha Diversion (no comment.....lol)

Hi, John
Son, you've just got too many bikes! Think of us 'Single' bikers having to make do with just ONE bike!
Let me help you feel less guilty, and take the yam off your hands ;D
Zx, Yeah, just noticed indicators. seen em in shops, are they easy to fit? and do they work (can car driver see em!)
They do tidy up the front of the bike nicely. One of mine at the back needs some work.
Enjoy your touring this summer
Cheers Jim

Hi Jim, gosh you've been busy, I agree the lighter blue looks better than the black, dark colours have to be a pro paintjob on flawless panels to look right. Hi Pops, the bikes look better than new condition after ur rebuilds, I wish I had the time inclination and patience.... Derbyshire Bill, another gleaming example, however I've got to ask....."doesn't a fairing that size catch a lot of wind and upset the steering as its attached to the handlebars?"....... maybe your other hobby sailing?........wind assisted NTV..... best regards all John

Bill, gotta agree with John, a gleaming example, top notch. But your are right, it is 'HUGE' I've got a small screen on mine and the wind fairly whips across it. how does yours handle on windy days? BTW, your daughter taught you well, sir. If you and me can post to this site, anyone can! have fun, stay safe. Jim

Re the barn door fairing- no, it's steady as a rock, honest.- I ride all year round in all conditions (except ice, I'm not that daft) and it just sits. It looks a sight, but it works. It's just nice to bowl along at any speed with the visor up on the hat. Jaz- you got a spray shop or something? Your bike@ a chameleon.

Hi, Bill Yeah it DEFINITELY looks solid. ;D It did ride from DEC 06, til now so kinda know what your saying regarding 'Adverse' weather. Just not sure it would be my cup of tea tho', but each to his own. Thats what makes sites like this so interesting. No matter what peoples background, (A/S/L) or differing viewpoints, we all share the same enjoyment of motorcycle. P.S. No paint shop unfortunately. Poor paint job (black) john will vouch for that. Did apprenticeship in panelbeating and spray years ago (dropped out after 2 years, due to asthma and paint not mixing) so got some basics mastered. Might even copy this guys tips; "Wait until it is really dry (I'm talking days, not hours) and very gently rub down with 1200 grade wet and dry, rinsing often and being very careful on outside corners not to go through the new paint." he knows what he's talking about ;D Regards jim
