Greetings everyone.
I have this strange problem as the title states. When I ride and it rains in the process my front brake loses approx. 60% of it's braking power. Anyone had something similar on there bike? This started to show few weeks ago. Could it be bad pads? Or is it something else I should look for?
Thank you in advance for all the answers.

Hi Muxter, All I can tell you is that I use EBC (HH type) sintered pads front and back, with Goodridge stainless hose, and grip in the wet is pretty good. Assuming your brakes don’t need bleeding or the caliper servicing (e.g. check for sticking pistons) you can buy all this stuff at Wemoto…. But I’d try upgrading your pads first with either EBC (HH type) or the Goldfren equivalent…. Take a look at the brake section on the link below…. shop.wemoto.com/index.dyn?oid=5835670www.bike-parts.fr/pieces-promo-2794-13MZ6S41--1997-F__0900-.html

Thank you for the answer Jake.
I have new pads ready and waiting. They are sintered but not realy sure from which manufacturer. Just didn't replace them since my old ones have enough material on them. But I guess it doesn't cost me anything to replace them. I have no issues with braking when roads are dry. This issue is evident only when I run under rainy conditions.
I'll replace them and hopefully it will be sorted.
Thank you again.
