Firstly welldone for a great site.Having recently become the proud owner of a '90 600 Revere with a few ongoing age related probs your ideas please. Fine when cold but a juddery vibration when taking up drive in first gear,no clutch slip at all anyone with a similar experience? I do know, however that a Busa battery will fit, just have to use longer bolts on the terminals.

I get a bit of a rough spot as the clutch is biting if I slip the clutch too much e.g. in too high a gear or a two-up hill start. In normal use, however, don't notice it. My spare bike has a reasonably new clutch and, although better, it does have a similar effect. As far as I can remember most of my bikes have been similar in this respect.

yep ive got similar problem, my driveway is quite steep and it feels like a shudder when i take off but no slipping and gearchanges and neutral finding ok. apparently it can be warped plain plates in the clutch but i will find out next week when i pull it apart.
