Hi folks,
Kez (the bride) and I have just completed a 14 day, 4200km ride (2 up) throughout Victoria (Australia) including the Great Ocean Road, and I thought you might be interested in a few pics of our trusty old Revere along the way.
I recently bought the bike (no name yet)in August, it had 98000Km on the clock and being 18years old I would say that its not the first time its rolled over.
To prepare for the trip we had had the bike serviced, a new rear tyre ( Bridgestone (Pirelli on the front)) fitted, a 56litre (Rjays) top box, and a pair for 40-66 litre (Motodry) soft panniers fitted.
I rebuilt the rack and made some support frames for the panniers. we purchased and fitted a Gemini Shark fairing (from Handcraft fibreglass in Sydney) had the seat lengthened, widened and repadded, very nice now, Bride was very appreciative of this modification. I also added a 12v socket for my Garmin Nuvi GPS and hard wired a Oxford BikeMike 3 intercom system.
Please enjoy these pics it really was a GR8 trip...
