Hi all,
I'm having a problem removing my seat. Or rather the problem is stuck lock for the seat. It hasn't been off for year or so and I assume that a riding around throughout the winter has gotten it corroded with salt and much. The key will enter the lock but will not turn clockwise. I've sprayed it with WD40 but with no effect.
Ideas?

My guess would be to have someone put pressure on the seat close to the looking mechanism whilst you turn the key. Flod the thing with WD40 and punch the seat in the catch area. It made my day in another bike...
Hope it helps

Hi there, Thanks for advice. I eventually cleared it by flooding the lock with WD40 and giving the key a good wiggle in the lock every few days. After a couple of weeks and reaching the end of hope for fixing it I tried once more and the mechanism turned. Immediately it was free! So you need only WD40 and a lot of patience
