Was doing the valve clearances this weekend (or rather went through the motions and now know how to do it as is normal for me - I always seem to take 2 attempts to do these things).
Anyway I got some Champion RA4HC plugs from a local car shop as they are supposedly equivalent to the NGK ones. Two points on this:
1. The hex bolt on the Champion plug is a 16 mm one so fits my standard spark plug socket. This also means it is MUCH easier to remove as you have more clearance around the hex bolt and I suspect you don't need the "special tool". The only reason I see for making the NGK ones 18 mm is to a cosy deal between Honda and NGK.
2. Are these plugs any good, or has anyone used them in the NTV ?

I had no idea that Champion made an equivalent to the NGK's or Denso's.... I can't recall anyone else using them so let us know if they work OK. I normally use SpiltFire SF416C which in terms of perfomance are a lot better than NGK's or Denso's and they last a lot longer too.... www.bellrockracing.co.uk/sparkplugs.htmlUnfortunately, SplitFire no longer make them, with the the 'V' design on the side electrode so it's just as well that I've stockpiled a couple of dozen for my own use.
