Hi Everyone, I'm new to this forum and this is my first message. Last June I bought my '93 NTV with only 18000 recorded miles. It came with full touring screen, Baglux, and Givi. I'm very pleased with it apart from the vibration which numbs my right hand after only 40-50 miles at around 70mph. I have owned Meriden Triumphs, Guzzis, a Honda 4 and cg125. Vibration has never been a problem on any previous bike. My NTV appears to be in good condition. It starts easily and returns 62mpg locally and 48mpg to Scotland at 80mph. Has anyone else suffered this problem of vibration or is able to offer a solution?

Check out the thread below for possible causes: growell.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=engine&action=display&thread=1374&page=1Also, check out the fittings on any luggage equipment and screen....and check for any loose engine bolts.

Thank you Jake. I infer that my problem is not representative of NTV's. All bolts seem fast; engine, luggage, and handlebars. Tyre pressures ok. I will check carbs and tappets.
