Hi All
I know i have asked this before but based on another post i have read i am a little unsure.
I have an ntv600 and want to fit crash bars. Advice so far has been to fit 650 ones, has anyone actually done this and have they fitted without any altering of the bike?
I dont want to shell out £100 and then find they dont fit.
Looking in the gallery theres seems to be 2 types being used, one i think is hepco and becker then other i am unsure.
So my question is does anyone have an ntv600 with crash bars fitted, if so what type of crash bars are they.
Thanks

Hey, just going to pipe in here because , i don't think that its always the case that the Revere on the continent is only a 600, Because mine is a Revere, bought in Italy, and it has a 650! Would be interested to hear others comments on this.

Would be interested to hear others comments on this. Hi, Glenn…. As I pointed out on the thread below (reply 3).... growell.proboards.com/index.cgi?action=display&board=engine&thread=1418&page=1‘I own an NTV 650.... In this country (as opposed to the continent) the Revere is the 600 and the NTV is the 650.’The differences between bikes in this country and the continent has been noted by Buzzin (reply 1) in the thread below. And in the same link, Everdaybiker points out the confusion which sometimes arises: If it's advertised as a 'NTV650 Revere' or similar it's probably down to ignorance on the part of the seller. There's often loose descriptions to be found on Ebay including the statements 'NTV', 'Revere', '600', '650' etc. growell.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=engine&action=display&thread=739But as I say, in this country the Revere had the 600 engine and the NTV had the 650. This arose originally because the Revere in the UK, was placed in the cheaper 600cc insurance bracket. Later on, when the 650 engine was introduced over here (i.e. in the higher insurance bracket) Honda designated the bike as the NTV and ‘NTV’ was marked on the tank accompanied by some minor, cosmetic alterations including tubular handlebars, and the same size clocks etc. See the link above for further info...
