Hi all Seems we like our economical little shaftie bikes. DVLA make the engine cut off for cheap road tax at 600cc so this only gives us 20 year old bikes to choose from.
The Revere is fine for me, but getting a little long in the tooth. I see no benefit in high insurance prices I don't need to be tempted to loose my license every time i ride to work, I don't see the need to be able to do 150mph on the main roads either. More than 200 miles to the tank full would be nice.
Why not Email the Honda Dealers? I have. you never know if enough of us contact them maybe they will eventually listen.

It's worth a shot, Chris..... However... Not trying to be negative but contacting Honda UK dealers won't make much difference in my opinion. Honda Japan would be more concerned with sales figures in Europe, and whether or not a revised Revere is likely to sell in competition with Kawasaki's ER6-N for example, or even the Versys..... Mind you, as I pointed out in another thread Honda could have updated a naked NTV, by using the latest Deauville 700 engine, just like they did with the Transalp. Instead they came up with the bizzare looking DN-01 which I can't imagine has sold that well in Europe or anywhere else..... www.diseno-art.com/images/DN-01.jpgBut I wouldn't mind paying the extra insurance for a 700cc naked, shaft-driven NTV though.....

i have been using a 1000 v twin firestorm and a ntv 650.Yes the firestorm will overtake so much safer but if only honda could have given the firestorm some of the NTVs plus points( superb fuel consumption, reliability, and that shaft drive) I would be in the market for a newer version (injection + odd bits) if one was marketed
