Replacing the aluminum handlebars ½ Revere is a puzzle. In fact, the platinum fuse is in the middle of the top yokes. In addition we must provide for the setting of a new handlebar tube. Several solutions have more or less successfully been tested since 1988. The simplest, a priori, is to replace T by a superior model post 1991, but then you must also change the counter, Neiman, the wiring harness is not the same .... not so simple as writ it in fact. I therefore, after some research, selected a German solution. An intermediate board is in place the support plate fuses and handlebar attaches conventionally to the plate via jumpers. After some blow son, I found a fuse platinum at Moto-pieces 95 to 10 €. Rapid transition to Autobacs the corner (a good auto shop), electric ray, then rewiring who asked me two hours of work for 10 welds, the ducts and vacuum-shrink shaping the strand. The patina fuse, beam extended by almost 1 meter. I fixed the plate changed in the toolbox. It is isolated from vibration by 2 Silentblocs. The strand follows the beam as close to home, however, the passage of the fork is on the side clutch cable. The future site of the intermediate plate To follow...

Good post, Bertrand.... Fitting conventional bars to the Revere gives the option of raising the bars to a more comfortable height..... The pictures are self explanatory. The relocation of the fuse box behind the right hand side panel (where the tools are normally located) is a clever idea. Looking forward to the next instalment......

...more pictures.... It's great! It certainly is, Bertrand. Neat, professional job, well done! Bars also look wider than standard. I’ve raised the bars on my bike (NTV) by 50mm and also lowered the foot rests by the same amount.

Hi, why did you have to shorten the outside of the cable? would it not fit as a standard cable, john

john said: Hi, why did you have to shorten the outside of the cable? would it not fit as a standard cable, john.A standard 650 ntv clutch cable will be too short with this handelbar . A 650 deauville cable have the right length but the displacement is too limited. missing almost 2 cm. So I cut the outside of the cable. ------------------------------------------------------------- Good evening friends, I just finished assembling my Powerbronze fairing, the paint will be in September. friendships
