Hello to all
Just after a bit of advice i've just put a new thermostat and filler on my bike as the old one had corroded through and would not hold water. I've filled the rad back up ran the bike up to get it hot to check the fan works, which it does, then drained the water back out and its really brown and filthy, i've done this twice now and its still brown, is this normal or an indication of something more serious ?
Many thanks Nick

Hi nick. if the sludge is an earthy brown colour, it may well be radweld which has been put in the system to seal small leaks. may be worth getting some ready when you do the rad flush. as flushing it out may reveal some small leaks in the radiator.

Hey Chris you were right flushed it out with the Radflush and now it leaks like a sieve, back to Halfords for Radweld me thinks !
