Hi I did mention in another thread that I had fitted a cycle computer to my NTV. I thought that I would provide some pictures. When buying a computer you need to check that the maximum speed is sufficient for your needs. The unit I have reads to over 180mph, now short of riding over a cliff I am never going to reach that . For my unit I needed to enter the circumference of the wheel divided by 1.61 for miles per hour. The readout is designed to clip to tubular bars, the magnet is glued with Araldite to my front disc and the sensor is attached to the speedo cable with tie wraps. I know I should have used black. I may change how the sensor is mounted as at the moment it can be rotated, if you try. I may try a blob of glue from my glue gun. Other suggestions are appreciated. The speedo can be removed and put in the pocket when parked. Depending on the model, there are a host of other features. KPH or MPH readout, for riding abroad. Another trip meter, maximum speed, average speed, mach number, er no scrub the last. The other bike is the tail end of my Jota, as you can see it is not first out of the garage. Not the best town bike. However it does sound a lot better than the NTV regards Nick

I'm right there with you with the Casio, Hovis- I've got my old digital wrist watch stuck just below the ignition switch (minus strap of course). It must be 15 years old, still on the original battery. Probably should have put it in the 'useful accessory' thread. Bill

Hi All Have to say, you guys have put me to shame. Story is, I wanted a clock on bike, (too used to looking at clock in car) Wrist watch was/is always difficult to see when jacket done up. Searched net. Saw Bigben/tinyben? clock for bikes at £18 on E-bay. Considered it, then decided some Fuc**r would nick it or smash it, so NO. Buy something cheap you can easily replace. And I spent ages looking in £ stores for digital clocks, etc; and not ONCE did I consider a bicycle computer and now you are talking about DIGITAL watches ...DUH How blind was I Cheers guys for helping me look outside the box. Cheapo digital watch here I come ... ;D ;D Enjoy & ride safe Jim
