Hi there! I made the oil change in my fork, but the manual is not so useful.... I own a 650 year 1992, M version, and the manual I have include only 600 as M version.....
I put the new oil, but I can refill only 420cc instead 461, and oil level il right: 123 mm from the top, without spring. If I try to put the right quantity volume putting the spring in the tube the oil go out (level too hight...).
Someone have an experience?

Hi,do not go off the year check the vin plate on the bike for the model, ( ntv 600 j oil 405 oil level 182 ntv 600 k/m oil 466 oil " 466 ntv 650 s/t/v oil 106 oil " 482 did you pump the forks ( turn them upside down ) to get it all out as some will remane in the bottom, when you measured the oil WAS the fork leg compressed ( eg pushed down ) after pouring it in did you pump the fork to distribute the oil then with the fork still pushed IN then measure it, then pull the tube up slowly then put the spring in and the top cap back on, outlaw

Thank you, I do that. But when I put away the oil I measured about 400 cc of the old one. After this I pumped the fork, and I refilled the oil with 420 cc circa. The VIN number do not hel me because I have an NTV650M not a 600.
I will do a test ride to check the right work of the fork, and after this I eventually put inside more oil.

Merci beaucoup Bertrand! Probabily the oil did not come aut entirely. I levelled the oil at right (?) level. I'll make a test ride as soon as it finishes to rain. Thank all of you.
