The coolant should be a fifty-fifty mix of ethylene glycol (i.e. antifreeze) and water….. or you can buy it pre-mixed from Wemoto. If the coolant mixture is correct and there’s enough in the system then there could be a number of causes for overheating including faulty radiator cap or thermostat (see link below): www.hawkworks.net/manual/5.html#5-1-troubleshootingwbieniec.kis.p.lodz.pl/moto/ntv/manual/3.pdfgrowell.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=engine&action=display&thread=851

Hi jake i hadnt changed the coolant sincce i got the bike in nov so god nows how long it was since it was changed not much had been done on it was in a garage for 3/4 year i was told . So i have taken the thermostat out and tested it in pot of water on hob opened no bother when temp got up then i filled it back up with a 50/50 mix left it running for a half hour temp got up but didnt boil fan came on when the temp hits 50/70 % way up gauge am going to get the cap pressure tested today fingers crossed its that and not the water pump as i dont like the thought of getting in about the pump
