I had a spare seat so I thought I'd try to reshape it to lower it as my legs are quite short (ha ha) I took the seat to a guy in Huddersfield and gave him a clue what I wanted. 4 days later I collected it. I think the result is AWSOME... Best thing was he only charged me £40.00 for doing the lot. Slightly lower down so the ground is easier to reach now with both feet comfortably. What does anyone think...........

Nice job Gasman, it makes the bike look really classy..... and £40 is an excellent price. Normally you might pay that for just a new seat cover. (e.g. from Baglux). It’s funny really because my problem has always been that the standard seat is already too low, in relation to the footpegs..... In other words, I’m a short arse myself, but because I’ve got dodgy knees, I 've used an Airhawk seat cushion to raise the seat slightly, and thereby lower the pegs to relieve them. But I’ve also lowered the foot pegs as well now, and still kept the Airhawk seat cushion because I like the higher ride position.

Is that Tony Archer's work? I know a few of the Fazer boys had great work done by him...I hope he'll make me a seat from a pan, as I've lopped the arse end off my NTV650
