Forgive the very simple question but I'm new to NTVs (three days).
Should the twist-grip return to closed on its own, or are the cables genuinely push-pull? Mine stays put when you open it and let it go, but closes okay if you twist it closed. It seems smooth enough in operation. Is push-pull the proper set up or is mine sticking?
I've just bought a white, low-mileage '92 Revere fitted with a '99 NTV650 engine (unknown miles) and Motad silencer. Seems a nice combination of bits, and I'm just going through it to fettle it properly. I may have more questions! Thanks for the help.

Thanks. Seems PO fitted new grips and the throttle side was sticking on the cable housing. Adjusted, and the throttle works fine now.
