Hi lee
the part you wanted was in the fiche see attachment
Item21, - Part number 3493KT1670
It is about £2.07 +VAT +P&P with Davidsilverspares
But is on special order meaning they do not have it in stock.
As to your side panel,
They are mirror images a left will not fit a right.
If you still have the broken bits, you can repair it.
I did mine by gluing the small parts with superglue just to hold the shape.
Trimmed back the lug with a small hobby grinder (like a dremel)
make a support block using the good side panel as a template.
wrap the support in a release agent, clingfilm, pollybag, insulation tape.
dress back and rough up the inside of the panel near the lug for adhesion.
Bond the lug back in place using Araldite, or similar, but reinforced with a layer of fibreglass lapped onto the panel.
The Support block is used to hold the lug at the correct distance from the inside of the panel.
put some cling film over it all as a release film, cover in something like foam, then clamp up with some wood, and a quick clamp.
leave somewhere warm for a few days,
give it double the time it says for your adhesive, before removing the clamps.
when it has hardened, remove the clamps, wood, padding, support, and release agent. check it fits the bike ok, then trim the excess glue and fibreglass to suit.
mine has held for the last 18months.
If you have lost the lug you can use the same technique, but make a new lug in fibreglass first using the opposite panel as a guide.
Good luck with your test, and the refurb. looks like a tidy bike.
Chris
