Apart from the cost of motorway petrol, I don't mind actually filling at motorway petrol stations. I usually stop off for a break, anyway (e.g. coffee and pasty). I also prefer Shell 'fuel save' regular unleaded. The bike definitely does better MPG using this petrol..... www.shell.co.uk/home/content/gbr/products_services/on_the_road/fuels/fuelsave/unleaded/

I did 183 miles before going on to reserve on a recent windy day but was without pillion. I didn't hang about though. The tank was full to the brim when I set off. Hope that helps?
Happy biking
Mark
