Just my luck - was getting a popping noise from the front so put it in for it's MOT and told them to investigate - They couldn't get the right fork apart fully so assumed that one was the problem though you can never be sure MOT is due on the 5th so unless I can magically pull a good set of forks out of nowhere I'll have to stand it somewhere until some pop up on ebay can anybody make a suggestion or an offer? I'm not short on funds - just can't find any forsk - need them complete and good - I can find stanchions no problem but it's not the stanchion that's the issue! Are there any other bikes that have compatible forks? And to cap it all off - it's raining lol

Hmm reckon I found some on a 97 revere that's being broken - I can't see the fork diameter having changed fomr the 95 model so I should get lucky here

41mm all round, but i believe the bros forks were longer. as for alternatives - see this site: scandalon.com/2009/06/motorcycle-fork-diameter-chart/you'll need to look into lengths, but i know for a fact that cbr600f2 forks fit, and have a twin disc setup, and theres a whole front end, inc brakes and wheel on ebay at the moment.......

MOT is on the 5th so just gonna drop in a set I got for 60 quid from a breakers and cross my fingers - I do love this bike though so will happily spend a little to keep it happy. Twin disc does sound a lot nicer than my current affair - I'm after a pristine tank if this all pans out - need re spray - the faded red makes it look like a space hopper

Hi Groovylee,
would you mind expanding more on the cbr forks info please? Is it just a new set of legs that will fit in place, or can you change diferent parts about? I have pitted tubes on my NTV 650 and was wondering if I got cbr ones, would they be the right size to slot in place?
