I can't find a pic but can describe it - where the push and pull throttle cables attach - just behind the bit that rotates there should be a coiled spring that makes the moving part return to the same position when there is no tension on the throttle
I can see the bits the spring pushes against for tension but no bloody spring
You just remove the bit the throttle cables sit in and it's there as far as I can tell - mine isnt there!!
I'm trying to find pics of it but as it's part of the carb it seems not to be listed as a part - oh my kingdom for a spring!! I'll keep looking for an image

There's the bit -just behind the point the cables connect too you should see a coil but it's not there - after talking on another board I went and checked and I have the spring on the other side but it hasn't got enough pull to do the job on its own Sorry about the greasy unclean condition of me bike - work in progress Attachments:

Just done some ringing around and it appears I can only buy it as part of a complete carb - 80 quid!

God bless my MOT tester - he gave th eone remaining spring an extra couple of winds and it gave it enough to get it working - a bodge but a good one
Still failed though - Missed that the front brake was rubbing a bit and a couple of other little bits that I hadn'nt considered - they'll be doing the bits to fix it today because I just need it to use asap - about an hours labour but i have no time!!
Once she's through it's on to the little bits needed before sprucing her up

Glad you got it sorted.... I'm suprised that you couldn't buy a spring on it's own though....
