Hi folks. I just picked up a '97 NTV which needs some TLC and a new set of tyres. Any recommendations? Obviously, I'm looking for great roadholding, good mileage and a bargain price.

I fitted a set of Roadriders on my bike 2 years ago and they're only starting to show signs of needing replaced now, and I use the bike to go to work (20miles round trip) on 5 days a week. So what's that, about 10k miles? Not bad for £150 a pair and £10 fitting, as long as I took the wheels off.

I'm a convert to the Roadriders - getting plenty grip and feedback from 'em, looks like I'll be wearing out the soles of my boots before I wear out the tyres ..... ;D They're also pretty good in the wet:

I have bt45's on my revere and they are super sticky and have hardly worn at all in the time I have had them, though I don't clock that many miles these days as I also have another bike and a car.
