Is there anyone within this community thinking of passing on their beloved NTV? I am looking for a reasonable NTV 650 to compliment the older stuff in my stable. Preferably with pannier rack (Givi type fixings) and basically up together. Will pay a decent price for the right bike but have been surprised at some of the dealer prices on Ebay lately as their prices seem to be getting up towards early Deauville prices. I just missed out on a 1990 NTV for £650 that looked OK in the photos but was missing a centre stand and mirrors plus it needed a little work, like fork seals before it would pass a MOT. I live in Mid Wales so I am used to having to travel to get anything but would prefer to be able to do a viewing and hopeful purchase in a day.
Here's hoping.

Hi Ray
Thanks for the prompt reply. Like I said I was hoping for a bike with pannier rack already fitted as my pilllion doesn't like top boxes and it would save the hassle of trying to find a rack that would fit an obsolete model. However I would still be interested if nothing else turns up so if you could let me know a bit more about your bike like mileage and what sort of price you were expecting that would be useful. Also what sort of area is the bike located?

no probs Jon, mine has 82k on it, condition is ok but could do with a tidy, I live in stourbridge but work in london on shifts hence it being not very clean, It currently has a cbr600f3 front wheel(120 front tyre) much more stable in the wet with a proper tyre, a 160 rear, k&n filter in the air box up to 72mpg, I will put up a link to my fuely page. also it has the zrx1200 fairing(did you look at the link?)the front forks have cbr600f3 inners and stancions, which means you can`t run tubular bars so I have fitted fj1200 bars, It should have honda bros yokes later this week and a carbon race can and a ytx14 battery(st1100 size) which is 12ah as opposed to the std 9ah, It has started every morning this winter even with snow on the ground I tend to charge it every couple of weeks as she lives outside Ray www.fuelly.com/motorcycle/honda/ntv_650/1996/ssray/138980
