Hmmm....according to that list my bike is actually a '91 bike that only got sold in '93....possible ofcourse, but unlikely I would think.... (xxx RC33U 7MM2000xx) they didn't sell that bad right?? Haven't figured out where it was build yet, although it would seem in Japan, instead of spain/belgium/italy. (don't know the first three letters/digits by hart...and the picture of it is at home...as is the bike) norfolknchance: I have the same 'problem' on the papers. Just look at the VIN plate on the frame and all will be revealed methinks (number on my papers is also missing some of the non-essential info)

Hi Buzzin, All of the NTV models up to the Deauville were made in Japan and acording to the Vin your bike was made in 91. Not unreasonable if it was late 91, shipped sat in a dealers and was registered early 93. I agree about your V5C, Norfolk, worth checking the VIN for the full details. I had an issue with the DVLA in that my Laverda had been originally registered with the DVLA using the model plate (common to all Jotas) rather than the headstock stamping. Not a problem until they went computerised. The VIN should start 10003CL for 1000cc, 3 Cylinders, but the stamping of the C was not that distinct. So it is now registered with the DVLA as 10003GL. I submitted photos and wrote an explanation, but no joy. So treat the V5 with suspicion.
