ooooh trustme... it would be fabulos!!! there would be one thing tho... The country is leftwheel drive. It could get tricky on the road. I know i have rented a quad in Cyprus... it was ok all in all but at one point in Agia Napa i got to this roundabout... and just by instinct i go in it the wrong way(which usualy for me is the good way), and here i am with incoming traffic Going 25mph(abt 40km/h) wrong way.
Nice timing. It just started snowing here. When are you coming? Poiana Bv is nice!
Nevertheless A road trip here would be very nice!!!

But, I believe that most accidents happen either when pulling out after stopping (for petrol of food etc) & then riding / driving on the wrong side of the road or in a "panic" situation when the natural reaction is to swerve towards the nearside of the road as at home (ie to the left if you usually drive on the left) From your pictures it certainally looks like a great place to visit - I must try & do it one day. Paul.

2 thumbs up! This Saturday I'm almost sure that i will be in thingya bv as well. No... fortunately I'm not the impaler(just a distant nephew of some great grand cousin of his ;D)... i would have liked living in a castle:)
+40766.45.11.68 is my phone no. do call if you're around! BTW did u see the Bran castle or Sighisoara?
The one from Bran(with the stories and bazaars) is ... well Vlad the impaler nervier lived there, that was a border town and he use to stop there. The real thing is in Sighisoara... but not too many people are interested in going there although if you ask me that is the cool place!

so Graham... how was your trip. I went in poiana bv last Saturday, snow was ok, but it was kinda foggy...
did you have a chance to see Sighisoara or it was too far out of your route?
Just out of curiosity... would anyone be interested in coming to romania for a road trip this summer?
or better yet for a trip around Europe sometimes next summer(i think that it kinda takes a lot of planning ahead) ?
cheers Vld

Hi, and srry for the late reply. Yes i was all the way up. The funny thing was that at 4 :30pm, there was a brief moment of bright blue sky(strong wind but awsome blue sky)m then the fog came down again and that was it.
Yeah, it's a real shame you didn't get the message in time. For sure next season!!!
hope to hear from you guys. Remember, if you have any questions abt romania, or other surrounding areas, don't hesitate to ask. I will do my best to answer and provide all the facts as best as i can!!!
Cheers, vld
