I tired out my own footpeg conversion today and it seems to have worked and is a fairly straight forward and easy to do modification. It suited my needs and drops the pegs back about 20 or 30mm and down by about 15 or 20mm which seems to be enough for now. I used thinner longer allen bolts with washers and nylock nuts and I had to use an ad hoc/makeshift mod to stop the one peg from drooping by using a bolt placed inside the end of the peg as a spacer/lockstop but it would be easy to fit a more permanent solution involving a simple piece of welding.
