Hi all, Im new in this forum, but hope someone can support me with some good advice. I have a 1991 Revere (I bought it last year in good conditions) and until now I only changed the oil and filter:) But yesterday my bike failed. That day I rode approx 180km in sunny weather when problem appeared first. It started with some beat-missing during run. Stopped and checked Spark plugs are OK, battery is almost new and charged, fuses -on the handlebar- all OK. 10km later missing beats came back and also all my lights started to "play" Front light, indicators, even the backlight of the control panel. Also my tachometer showed fake figures. Think only the parking light was ok. And problem disappeared..and appeared again 5km later. The strange thing is, if I pulled the clutch and just roll. Or stopped and let the engine run in neutral, everything was perfect. But if I continued my way home its appeared again and again. Finally in any gear, any speed, any rpm. Sorry I wrote a book here but I wanted to write the symptoms.. Only home I checked the battery cabling, and the "-" wasnt fixed properly, can it affect the run? If not, is there any weakpoint (generator/voltage regulator/pluggings) I should check first? Or anyone faced similar problem? Thanks your help!

Hi, My bike looks OK I fixed the battery connections. (That day I rode on a very bad quality&shaking countryside road when the problem appeared.) After it I went for a little ride in the city, and yesterday for a longer (50km) around the city. The bike was OK, every electrical part worked well. So hoping the best and use the bike as normal, until the weather permit it.
