Hi all
Help required please.
Have just done changed the front pads on my revere. Havent done a caliper rebuild, everything stayed on the bike whilst the job was done. Once new pads were fitted i changed my brake fluid but now the front brake drags.
It is not as easy to push the bike with engine off, pushable but not as easy as with the old pads. You can hear the disc brushing the pads as you push it. Riding the bike is fine apart from the brushing noise of pads and disc. Actual braking is as expected.
Any thoughts on what i might have done wrong? Is this normal? Will the pads bed in with time and the drag/brushing noise stop?
Your help as always appreciated
Simon

did you make sure the pistons were free when you pushed them back in and clean? i rub them with a bit of wire wool and brake fluid as when new pads are fitted the pistons have to go in more ( there may be a small lip on them. outlaw
