put this in the garage section but should have gone in here, sorry.Hi there, Have a 89' ntv600. Someone tried to nick it and ruined the ignition so I bought a new one, fitted it and tested it before I put headlight/wiring etc back together. No problem started straight away, jobs a good un. Whilst starting to put it all back together the parking light slipped out of its seating and hit a couple of the ignition wires, sparked and bulb blew. Checked the fuses, one had blown so changed it. Nothing. no oil light, no side stand light, nothing. No power whatsoever. Fuses fine, fuse in starter relay fine (changed it anyway), battery fine, checked all connections, am lost! Start a new job next week and theres no way of getting there without transport on some shifts.
Could blown/dead starter relay cause this?
Cheers! Bob.
