I'm no expert but have had good guidance from this forum and I've needed it. In the U.K., I believe that David Silver is the starting point and you can find microfiche files that visually identify any part you are looking for. If you identify what region of the bike that you want a part for, then you can identify the specs for that part and I found that some of the parts, such as washers, can then be accessed at a local store, sometimes. There are links on the forum to microfiche files and even a technological gumby like me has been able to find them, with some patience. Good luck and if I can be of any further help, please ask. If I can be of any further help that is. I couldn't have completed my 4 year project Model J, NTV650 Revere, without this forums knowledge and encouragement. Surf the archived threads here and on the internet. I have also found that certain parts that may be assigned a certain 'part number' for a particular NTV model, may in fact be available in other NTV models with a different part number. In addition, Honda Hawk models from the U.S.A. and the NTV's successor, the 'Deauville', also have the same part. Just yesterday I bought a replacement hand brake lever for my bike that I couldn't find for an '88/9 Revere but found it was the same as a '98 CBR600F. Off the shelf, here in Melbourne, Oz. At the risk of confusing you further, with info overload, some parts are generic across all brands. Once again, Good Luck and happy NTVeeing.
