Hi everyone, I have just joined up today;my problem is what appears to be lack of fuel reaching the carbs. I am not a mechanic. just using commonsense and manual. Battery fully charged;;; engine spins over fast, fuel in tank;electric pump appears to be working ok; plugs not getting wet. any ideas friends. Jukebox

Try bypassing the fuel pump by disconnecting the electrical connection and connecting the fuel filter to the pipe exiting the pump. If the pump is faulty, the engine should run fine without it until it hits reserve, or occasionally if run at high revs for long periods, when it may struggle a bit. Replacement contacts for pump are about £20 from M&P, or others. My pump was intermittent for a while, causing occasional cut outs, cured by switching ignition off and on again, before packing up completely, when I had to fit new contacts, after bypassing it to get the bike home. Also worth draining carbs to check no dirt causing blockages. Hope you are running again soon!
