Will the NTV take pod filters well? , I just fixed the NTV yet again (requiring a carb strip down , balance and fuel pump wire resolder)
In that a great deal of my time was trying to put the air box back on so get to the choke cables and the screws that are blocked by the airbox.

Don't recognise that problem to be honest....the airbox just pops off with the right screws slackened, and it pops back on the same way .... But yes, I have heard of people putting on pods, and it seems to work. Although, not sure if they fiddled with the carb settings etc as well

At the risk of being accused of necromancy...
Yes, I'm using a pair of Simota ones from Wemoto. You need to source a replacement crankcase breather filter from somewhere, and find a way of attaching the air pre-filter thing (the bit of vacuum cleaner filter from under the airbox, I just made a new lid for it then zip tied it to the underside of the new CCB filter). The new filters sound epic - miles better than with the airbox fitted. Been using for about 5k miles now, no issues, still pulls hard and I get about 50mpg round the town, even with my unsympathetic riding style. Seriously now considering one of Wemoto's custom exhausts for even better noise...
