I can't say for certain, but it's likely to. The main differences with the early Deauvilles were cosmetic (fairing and panniers), plus the addition of a second front disk.

Not sure about this one but here's the bits I can remember. The NTV disc is on the LH side along with the drive. It is jap made nissan type caliper. The Deauville caliper is on the RH side as they have a double sided swing arm. Most of the early models had real rubish euro made calipers which liked to seize. (we'll not mention the brand as some think the world of them) In my Honda job I only kept one set of these and the later pads as they were differant from almost everything else. I would have to say that the likely hood of the rear disc being the same is small. Does anyone else Know for certain. It would be good if I could still sign in to Honda's EPC but they change the pass word changes every month.

Dont worry a thing about it McF. I have made mistakes and I'm sure I'll make a few more if the man above lets me. You have given some very good advice and are a great help to many. I have thought about it and I am more convinced it doesnt fit. I try and sit back and not be too noisey but I like to be helpful. Anyone got an interest in windturbines/solar panels etc. I hope I'm not opening a can of worms I know there are those who do not like them, thats fine. I want to if any members are interested. The reason I ask is there may be an oportunity to learn more, have a weekend out and a beer or two if you wish.

I toy with solar water a bit. I've set up a home-brewed system not unlike the Solartwin flexytube offering...

Hello dp Good simple idea the solartwin. Heath Robinson but it works. The only problem we found was the mouse's around the house's liked the rubber tubing. (I worked in this area before having poor health) I have a Hitachi 2kw flat plate for a number of years and Ive had a good run with it. I added another 2kw flat made in Greece this spring. Cant remember the name but it came from SOLEX I think. Good panel and nice finish. It also matched the Hitachi for size etc and so fitted in nicely with it and the thermo syphon system I have. I favour flat type against the much more efficient evac tubes as the flat will almost certainly be operating the rest of my life. I also have 3 Bergey XL1s and 2kw PV in a stand alone setup. Then I have a pole that currently has a 6kw Proven heating machine on it. I havnt a lot of love for these as they proved inconsistant but it is a stop gap. Those of you who know where I work now you'll understand. I intend adding a bit more PV this summer with control gear to both heat and grid from the larger turbine and the new PV. I added the little bit to the last posting to see if any of the NTV clan was interested. Maybe I should have started a new thread for this. What do you think. Bit of an odd place to be discussing such but I have a feeling that there may be a few of us who have an interest in these things. It would be a good oportunity to see how the small one's are made and see someone living with it providing you dont mind camping out. Its only an idea at this stage to see if I get much interest.
