Hello,
Have anybody tried putting NT650V DEAUVILLE ADJUSTABLE BRAKE LEVER on NTV600/650 REVERE?
Do they fit?

Never tried it. I presume you would need the whole mounting for the bars with master cylinder etc. I doubt the lever on its own would fit in place of the standard one. If you have access to one, I should imagine it would fit, the brake line should be a standard fitting, the handlebar diameter should be the same and with a naked bike there should be room.

The deauville master cyl will fit but the brakes on the ntv wont be worth a hoot afterwards as the deauville has twin discs and this cyl does not suit this application. The same can be said of fitting the other way around. Its all to do with with fluid displacement. Twin discs need more fluid and a single disc needs less. If I can remember I will compare the levers at work to see how similar thay are. If I forget and you need toknow send me a pm to remind me honda

While we're talking levers, has anybody fitted a dog-leg shaped clutch lever to reduce the reach from the bar to the lever? I have to have mine adjusted back to the point that the cable is starting to become slack to get a reasonable bite point.

Mine is slightly dog leg shaped and gives me no problems I had to renew it recently (when the bike fell over and snapped the last one) and discovered that it's actually off a Suzuki Bandit. The mount on the handlebar is significantly different and only this one would fit.

Dog-leg replacement levers used to be a fairly common accessory, but I’ve not seen any for the NTV… You might have to make your own by heating and bending a standard lever but I wouldn’t recommend it…. I know levers bend rather than break sometimes, because I’ve straightened my brake-lever after it was damaged when I dropped the bike. McF's suggestion of a Suzuki Bandit lever is probably your best bet, but see the link below: www.canamclinic.co.uk/general/page01.htmJake.

Just to be safe! the Bandit lever fits my bike because the handlebar mounting is from a bandit too. The Bandit blade would not fit the NTV mounting. On my second NTV, I have the correct mounting and would say I prefer that as it splits (like the Front Brake and Master Cylinder), whereas the Bandit is all one piece. Therefore to remove it I have to remove the grip and switchgear. Clearly that's not something I do too often, but having changed bars twice this year to get comfortable, it's been a noticeable pain, largely as a result of having to reroute everything several times.

Just fitted an adjustable lever from a VFR750. Straight on, no problems. Front brake feels 100% better

All i can remember is that it was from an early one (brought it years ago, never got round to using it), easiest way, go to your local bike breakers with your original brake lever and try it on different honda's.

Thinking about it, its late VF early VFR. Reason i remember is that i got the master cylinders (clutch and front brake) at the same time as the levers. I wanted them for a project and never used them. Hope this helps a bit more. Odie
