ive been looking for disks and calipers for my 600 for some time now (ive just missed a rear disk on ebay) what other bikes share the front and rear brakes (disks and calipers) so when i get to the breakers on friday i know what will fit if thay say they dont have any ntv brake bits

I think I'd seen a few postings on this several weeks ago. I believe the range is rather limited, but suggest Honda is the best to answer your question. It looks as though he's on most days, or you could try PM him. My bike had a slab of plain cast iron, drilled to suit, fitted as a rear disk. It actually worked well in the dry, but looked horrendous and was less than effective in the wet. I still have it somewhere if you get very (VERY!) desperate.

It should do, it looks OK, but it's not pretty. No holes in the pad area, but it's round, thick and the mounting holes are the right size and in the right place. The main thing it has to do at an MOT is provide enough resistance to stop the wheel turning on the rolling road and it should do that. If MOT date is looming and you cover the postage I'll pack it up and send it. I've sent you a PM with my mobile number if you're in a rush.
