Hello DublinNTV ..
To put a universal sports exhaust on you'd need a collector box arrangement that took the two downpipes down to 1 for the exhaust. There is a honda stubby exhaust system for the NTV on ebay at the moment (Item 170130662969) I think the Motad for the NTV has the collector built in, so the silencer has holes for 2 pipes into it (not sure whether the original downpipes fit into this or whether you need motad downpipes though). Predator exhausts (http://www.predatorexhaust.co.uk) do 2 exhausts for the NTV but they are T304 stainless steel (so pricey, but last forever). These exhausts have the collector built in so fit straight on to the original downpipes - one is a road legal exhaust. The other is a sports exhaust that they say adds 6bhp to the peak output power of the bike.
Hope this helps - Tweaker

Motad fits onto original downpipes. It's very quiet (if you like quiet) but like everything chrome, the finish won't last if used all year round. Nice secondhand stainless system is what you need (don't we all) but unlikely to find one.

Last time I bought a zorst I got if from Predator it'll be all stainless which will out live the bike and gives it a good growl too without being illegal.

Looked at both motad and predator both look similar to original was hoping to go for something a bit sportier and not shinny (black or carbon looking)
Oh well just have to keep looking
