Good one Jake count me in. A mate of mine is interested in coming as well, he rides a CBR but I am sure we can win him round. He is good company so I hope we can make an exception? Roger

Yes a good idea, Jake. This is a good, bike friendly campsite - with a new (last year) toilet / shower block. It's just on the edge of town so easy acess to pubs, cafe's chip shop etc. There is also plenty of B & B accomodation in the area. There is plenty of room on this site - the "MZ Riders Club" held their National Rally there last year (about 120 people attended),
Naturally ALL bikers are welcome as guests, whatever they ride - we may even be able to convert them & get them to buy an NTV / Revere!
Hopefully the site will let me log in under my own username (paulmason) tomorrow!
Paul.

Cheers Paul..... Agree, 'all bikers welcome' and of course no one is obliged to camp or go B&B.... Turn up on the day, and go home on the day if you prefer.... We just need to arrange a spot where we can all meet up..... Maybe JJ can show us around if she knows the area ?? www.whitehousecampsite.co.uk/How_to_find_us.html

Hi jake Good idea ;D Nice looking site as well. Easy to see the enthusiasm you put in post and how convincing one post can be. The detail you included sold it to me ...Well done. On a more mundane note, do we have any idea of possible dates (weather permitting of course.. ) and suggestions for 'Easy' to find meeting points?

Thanks, told my mate he could come.
He said great, sounds like fun do you have any dates yet?
It would be good to get some ideas down, Happy to paypal or contact the site direct when we have agreed dates.
Thanks for setting this up.
When we know who is going we could always use google to start to map meeting points, if we gave them numbers we could use them to plan rideouts as well.

Help.... !!! Open to suggestions on dates…. Definitely not a bank holiday (i.e. Easter) roads and campsite would be full. White House campsite reopens in March, so Fri, Sat, Sun sometime in March as earliest date….or could go slightly later. But we need to make allowances for peoples work schedule and availability….. And also, other people on the forum may still be deciding…. Haven’t heard from Norfolk or Hubcap for example, or JJ…. And what about Hovis (if he's got a bike), and poor old Buzzin stuck in the Neverlands.... ;D By the way, I may as well own up… I’ve never organised or even been on a ride-out with other people, so anyone with more experience is free to make suggestions….. Car park/Service Station at the Knills café in Llandridnod Wells could accommodate a large number of bikes and is a good place to refuel (food and petrol)…. But it means travelling a little further north for you ‘softie-southerners’ (only kidding) and then turning back towards Builth Wells…. Knills Restaurant Knill Service Station Crossgates Llandrindod Wells Powys LD1 6RE Or, could meet up somewhere in Builth itself…. But please bear in mind, my relative inexperiance in these matters....www.restaurants.co.uk/rest_includes/dx_rest.php/Knills-Restaurant/CXNCcFk=www.streetmap.co.uk/newmap.srf?x=309294&y=264791&z=0&sv=LD1%206RE&st=PostCode&lu=N&tl=~&ar=y&bi=~&mapp=newmap.srf&searchp=newsearch.srfwww.whitehousecampsite.co.uk/How_to_find_us.html

Builth Wells in March sounds good to me. I've also managed to get myself on the members' map at last, for those who might be interested. Micawber.

Hi Jake Topbloke.. Me Neither M8 But your doing an outstanding job so far Keep on doing what your doing, we got a great bunch on here and help is only a post away.. and maybe tie up with paul mason, JJ and Andymon (see post at bottom) Suggested itineray ( ) is for those coming up overnight crash at JJ's ... and then after a day riding the back roads of Wales, we retire to grahams for the night... But quite how we keep him Quiet by getting him a is something we should deal with closer to the day..... ;D Respect to you jake for considering the others but two post have started to converge.... I wrote Not forgetting ... If Hovis can make it, He will... But not heard from him lately, maybe Honda can get in touch with him? Both coming over with the irish crowd would be Uber Cool.. And buzzin? a hard slog there and back for him, but if He can't come to us, We should make the hard slog to him, and make the continent one of our targets next year.....Right .. hey and Micawber..................... ..................welcome to the map...... ;D

*wakes up* (goverment job...) Right, hadn't read through this yet A ride-out seems fine with me....I'll book a cheap B&B somewhere on the way (I don't fancy driving from Amsterdam to Calais to Wales (that's where it is, right?) in one go....and then take a ride as well....) March....hmmm...I would have to check to make sure my possible new employer won't mind....(that is, if he ever answers my questions....) Ow and someone bring bug spray please...Last time I camped in the UK I got eaten by midgets....I stopped counting after about 50 bites per arm
